Go South West has donated a coach and two drivers to take aid from charity organisation Plymouth Ukraine Medical Aid (PUMA) to Ukraine.

PUMA have also been collecting other supplies such as food and clothing.

PUMA chair Ali Piper said: “We make a big impact for the people we see – we see their faces, we see pictures of the donations in use. It’s rewarding, you can see you’re making an impact. Being a small organisation means we can make sure aid gets to where it’s intended.”

Richard Stevens, managing director of Go South West, said: “As a company, we’ve been doing what we can to support the people of Ukraine. Our Peace Bus has helped to raise thousands for the Ukraine Appeal, and being able to loan a coach and two drivers to get aid into Ukraine is another way we’ve been happy to help.”
