Coolius trailer serves as mobile workshop 06 December 2023

Wabcowurth, Würth and Würth Fahrzeugeinrichtungen have launched a trailer that offers an A/C service for construction, agricultural and forestry machinery, as well as similar commercial vehicles.

The Coolius Trailer is based on an equipped trailer with a maximum permissible weight of 750 kg.

The mobile workshop is based on a single-axle trailer with 100 km/h approval, which can be driven with a category B driving licence. The trailer can be equipped according to individual needs. Various A/C service units from the Wabcowurth Coolius range are available for configuration, either for R134a and R1234yf A/C systems. Two Coolius devices can also be transported and operated on the trailer at the same time.

Coolius denotes the line of Wabcowurth A/C service units that includes various models for the common refrigerants R134a and R1234yf. The entry-level solution for the Coolius Trailer is the Coolius A10 mobile unit, which can be replaced with other models according to individual needs. This means that the compact solution is available for leak detection, hose repair, A/C flushing, disinfection and pressure loss testing. Thanks to the stand-alone power storage device, sufficient reserves are available for up to six A/C services. In addition, the power storage device can also be used for other electrical tools. The power supply is also variable: Operation is possible via a generator (1.6 kW), power station (2.4 kW) or external power supply (230 V).

In addition to the A/C service unit, the trailer is equipped with a drawer case module, system case module including case, storage box shelf, hose holder and hose extension. There is also a 12 V/DC USB socket and 230 V circuit, LED interior lighting as well as a non-slip floor plate on board.

According to Wabcowurth, this equipment and additional charging options reduce the burden on the transport vehicle and charging effort. There is also less wear and tear on the A/C service unit and accessories due to significantly fewer loading operations. For ergonomics and handling in use, the trailer has a large side flap, which, in the open position, also acts as a roof to protect against direct sunlight and precipitation. The individually configurable Coolis Trailers are offered on a lease or purchase.
