DAF Trucks appoints managing director 17 May 2023

Kiss has worked at DAF Trucks’s parent company PACCAR for more than 16 years

DAF Trucks has appointed David J. Kiss managing director (MD) in the UK, following the departure of Laurence Drake who has decided to pursue an external career.

In his new position, Kiss will report to Richard Zink, director marketing & sales at DAF Trucks headquarters in Eindhoven, in the Netherlands.

Kiss has worked at DAF Trucks’s parent company PACCAR for more than 16 years, most recently occupying the position of sales director PACCAR Parts Europe. Previously, he was managing director at DAF Hungary and the company-owned dealer Hungarotruck for three years. He has enjoyed increasing responsibilities in roles with DAF Trucks, PACCAR Parts and Peterbilt having been based in Hungary, the UK, the USA and The Netherlands.
