Feelgood factor from Cartwright clinches deal from M&L Strange15 January 2019

Uttoxeter-based operator M&L Strange Haulage has taken delivery of a new curtainsider trailer from Cartwright, citing the trailer maker’s customer service as key to the deal.

M&L’s founder Matthew Strange, who set up the business with his wife Lucy in 2015, visited last year’s Commercial Vehicle Show to place an order but says his treatment by most suppliers fell short of the mark.

“I felt that unless I was ordering a large number of trailers, they weren’t very interested… until I approached the Cartwright Group,” says Strange (pictured).

“I was treated exactly the same [as other customers] whatever the size of my order. I was pleased to do business with them and am delighted with the build quality of the product, which is exceptional.”

He adds: “We are delighted with our investment in this Cartwright trailer. We have worked with their engineers to build a trailer with safety in mind for the general public and the best load security for customer’s goods, so we can deliver safely and efficiently.”
