Fiat unveils Doblo Cargo to the UK market17 February 2015

Fiat has unveiled its fourth-generation Doblò Cargo to the UK market at an event in the Midlands.

The 2015 model has upgraded exterior styling, as well as several engine improvements and an EcoJet version for reduced fuel consumption.

The range offers two roof height options and two wheelbase lengths, with five engines, ranging from 90bhp to 135hp. There are also four trim levels: standard, EcoJet, SX and Tecnico.

The 1.3-litre and 1.6-litre turbodiesel engines deliver more torque from lower revs, says Fiat, boosting efficiency by up to 12%.

The EcoJet spec, in addition, delivers lower fuel consumption and emissions levels with features such as Start&Stop, low rolling resistance tyres, low-viscosity oil and an 'intelligent' alternator. Together, these give a fuel economy of up to 64 mpg, with CO2 emissions of 115g/km.

Inside, the 2015 Doblò has a lighter, smoother clutch action coupled with a shorter and more positive gear change, while additional soundproofing has resulted in an average reduction of 3dB in the cabin.

Standard safety features include Electronic Stability Control, ABS brakes with EBD (Electronic Brake force Distribution), Anti-Slip Regulation, Hydraulic Brake Assist and Hill-Holder systems.

A tyre pressure monitoring system, as well as passenger and lateral airbags, are optional extras.

New options for the 2015 Doblò include a Gateway module for vehicle telematics, a power folding door mirror function, DAB preparation for aftermarket audio systems and Traction+ system, for improved handling on slippery surfaces.
