Fruehauf appoints business development manager 05 January 2024

Fruehauf has appointed Gary Hunt as business development manager, who will play a role in the company’s expansion plans for 2024.

Hunt (pictured) moves into the role after 13 years at Weightlifter Bodies, where he worked his way up to area sales manager, supplying tipping trailers and rigid tipping bodies to operators in England, Scotland and Ireland.

With responsibility for looking after Fruehauf’s existing accounts and generating new business in the Midlands and the North of England, Hunt will work with national technical sales manager Karl Spooner and his team, to boost UK trailer sales.

Fruehauf’s sloper smoothsider trailers and step frame bathtub tippers are both produced at its 73-acre site in Grantham, Lincolnshire, where the company offers specialist design, engineering, fabrication and livery application for a range of vehicles and components.
