Grayway Coaches repeats order for Volvo B11R07 October 2016

Grayway Coaches has taken delivery of a second Volvo B11R Euro 6 coach, after being impressed by the fuel economy and features of its first B11R.

The Wigan-based operator’s latest addition is another Jonckheere-bodied, 53-seater and it has specified Volvo’s Driver Support System, which includes AEBS (advanced emergency braking systems and forward collision warning), LKS (lane keeping support) and ACC (adaptive cruise control).

The new vehicle brings the operator’s fleet to 30, most of which are Volvo.

Mick Gray, managing director, praises the service received from Volvo and from dealer Thomas Hardie Commercials, in Preston, which he describes as “second to none”.

“They have always operated an excellent and responsive service, including outstanding support from the technicians. These are the reasons why we keep going back to Volvo and will continue to do business with them in the future,” Gray says.
