GRS Roadstone wipes out workshop worries with r2c Online 23 March 2017

GRS Roadstone says it has solved its fleet maintenance and repair visibility and control problems since installing r2c Online’s digital system to optimise workshop management.

Mark Jones, fleet manager at the bulk and bagged construction aggregates supplier, says it need a system to replace manual and paper processes around workshop schedules, documentation, etc.

“Once we worked out the cost of my time, as well as paper and print costs, it was a no-brainer,” comments Jones. “Since using r2c, I have reduced my workload by approximately 30%.”

Jones explains that the classic gathering paperwork and filing used to consume much of the administrators’ time, as did manually generating schedules.

“The lack of visibility and control was also an issue, so we knew our operating system could be made more efficient,” he adds.

“r2c has solved all these problems: the dashboard gives me instant vision of where we are at all times,” he continues.

“Filing is no longer required as it’s all now digitally stored and we can produce and monitor plans at the click of a button.”

Jones says he would “absolutely recommend” r2c’s Inspect system to other workshops.

“In my opinion any professional workshop should use r2c, not only as an invaluable tool and timesaver, but also as a way of selling their services. I’m not sure how we managed without it.”
