Hampshire operator boosts fleet with Volvo buses06 January 2017

Eastleigh-based Xelabus has taken delivery of two Volvo B7RLE single-deck buses, as part of its strategy to upgrade vehicles and drive down maintenance costs.

The family-owned operator started in business six years ago with two vehicles and is now Hampshire’s largest independent operator, with a 36-strong fleet.

“The purchase of these two Volvo buses sees a further investment in local bus operation in the area, and we are looking at further expansion during 2017,” says Gareth Blair, managing director of Xelabus.
