IVECO launches New Daily Minibus 12 April 2019

IVECO Bus has launched the New Daily Minibus, available in electric and natural gas versions, as well as diesel.

The minibus launch coincides with the manufacturer’s New Daily van launch (see link below), with the minibus available in four models to meet the full range of passenger transport needs.

Designed for transporting schoolchildren, the Daily Pop comes in three lengths and three engine ratings from 142bhp to 207bhp.

The Daily Start is billed as an entry-level minibus, suitable for shuttle services. Also offered in three lengths, it can accommodate multiple interior layouts for up to 22 passengers and options include electric sliding door with retractable step and centralised air conditioning.

The Daily Line, again in three lengths, has three door options – manual, electric or sliding – and is said to be ideal for ‘extra-urban’, or intercity travel. Seating configuration options mean it can carry up to 22 passengers, with a rear platform and quick-release seats available to accommodate passengers with reduced mobility.

The last of the four models, the Daily Tourys, is a touring vehicle, with LED lighting, 2.5m3 baggage compartment, pneumatic rear suspension, audio-visual multimedia system and lane departure warning technology. The eight-speed Hi-Matic transmission is fitted as standard.

IVECO’s Blue Power offering gives operators the choice of either electric or natural gas.

Advanced driver assistance systems on offer mirror those on the New Daily van and include City Brake PRO, Queue Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Hill Descent Control and Traction Plus.
