Keltruck VOSA ATFs go live for truck and trailer MOT testing 07 October 2010

Vehicle operators can now contact Keltruck to arrange their mandatory annual vehicle testing, following VOSA's approval of its West Bromwich head office, Burton on Trent and Worksop sites as ATFs.

Neil Vazey, general manager of West Bromwich Keltruck says that the organisation has been working with VOSA over several months to develop the facilities.

He states that Keltruck's three new Approved Testing Facilities now enable customers, new and old, to have all types of commercial vehicles and trailers tested, and adds that bus and coach operators are also welcome.

The West Bromwich site (at junction 1, M5) had a two lane, four bay redevelopment in 2008—9, where the new testing facility is based. Burton on Trent has been a DP in the area for 10 years, recently upgrading to PSV testing. And Worksop, which was built in 2007 on the former Manton Colliery site, has been busy looking after 1,200 trailers for B&Q and handling all its MOT requirements.

Vazey says that Keltruck has its own computerised planning and booking system that enables operator to take advantage of additional services whilst the vehicle is on site – such as workshop and bodyshop, tachograph calibration and testing, steam cleaning and headlight alignment.
