New ATF centre opens in the south east 26 April 2012

The first VOSA-approved ATF (authorised testing facility) in the Canterbury and Hastings area has been opened by MC Truck and Bus Hythe.

Located on one of the busiest freight routes in the country, the M20, MC Hythe will now be offering on-site HGV and PSV MOT testing.

MC Truck and Bus Hythe depot manager Gary White hopes the facility will be more convenient for HGV and PSV operators in the area, with their focus on fuel efficiency.

"Now our customers can have all their essential work carried out in one place," says White.

"This not only means less downtime for their vehicles but more crucially, in these times of rising fuel prices, they no longer have to travel as far to get their MOT's," he adds.

MC Truck and Bus considers the move as another step closer to becoming a one-stop truck and bus shop.

This latest development follows on from recent investments in mobile hydraulic support vehicles and a beeline chassis straightening machine, complementing existing services such as steam cleaning and tachograph/road speed limiter facilities.
