Scania does the treble with PC Coaches and Solus Travel29 April 2015

Scania has announced its latest order wins, both for three Irizar coaches, with PC Coaches and Solus Travel.

Lincoln-based PC Coaches has extended its 100% Scania fleet with a Scania OmniExpress and two Scania Tourings.

The 6x2*4 OmniExpress is 14.1m long, with half leather seats and has full executive specification, as do the 6x2*4 Touring vehicles, which are both 13.7m long and have 57 seats. The Tourings also have lane departure warning, EBC and active cruise control.

All three feature Scania's fleet management system – with a free 10-year subscription to the Monitor reporting service – as well as Bosch Professional Line audio/visual systems, three-point seatbelts and alloy wheels.

Tamworth-based Solus Travel's order is for Irizar i6 vehicles, based on the K360 IB 4x2 chassis, with 360bhp Euro 5 engines and fully automated Opticruise gear selection system.

All three of the coaches have 53 reclining seats, centre sunken toilets, DVD players and two monitors, Durabright alloy wheels and extra-dark tinted glass.
