The new additions are all 12.9-metre length vehicles based on Scania K 410 6x2*4 rear-steer chassis, equipped with Scania's 410bhp Euro 6 SCR-only (selective catalytic reduction) engine and fully automated Opticruise transmission.
The vehicles' Irizar i6 bodies are equipped with 53 reclining seats with leather and extra padded flaps, sunken toilet/washroom and Frenzel kitchen located at the centre continental exit.
Additional features include Durabright aluminium wheels, reversing and road cameras and integrated satellite navigation.
"I had the opportunity to evaluate the new Euro 6 13-litre Scania with the tri-axle Irizar i6 body last season and it performed superbly," comments City Circle UK managing director Neil Pegg.
