Haslington enhances fleet19 July 2023
Haslington Haulage has replaced older models in its fleet with four DAF XG+ 530 FTG 6X2 tractor units from Motus Commercials DAF.
The fleet now has six trucks and 10 trailers.
Supplied by Motus’ Stoke-on-Trent dealership, the vehicles feature a 12-speed TraXon gearbox and a MX-13, 390 kW/530 HP engine.
Ginger Graphics, Crewe, fitted the livery while Auto Start in Fenton installed the DVS kit. The trucks come with DAF MultiSupport full R&M cover for six years, which includes all repairs, maintenance, legal inspections, MOT prep and fees, tachograph calibrations, access to the DAFCheck document management system, and UK national breakdown support.
Laura Smith, director at Haslington Haulage, said, "The XG+ was selected specifically for its spacious interior, crucial for our drivers' comfort who often live in the truck during long-haul journeys."
