Hydrogen Vehicle Systems has entered a Memorandum of Agreement to explore the integration of hydrogen fuel cell heavy goods vehicles (HGV) into Mannok Builds’s fleet.

Mannok is a provider of construction products and sustainable consumer packaging solutions. The move toward hydrogen fuel cells HGVs aligns with its goal of achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.

The trial is set to commence when these vehicles become available for trial in late 2025. Following this phase, Mannok will be in a favourable position to initiate the conversion of part of its fleet to these zero-emission HGVs.

Kevin Lunney, chief operations officer for Mannok, said: "By exploring the integration of hydrogen fuel cell HGVs into our fleet, we are taking a crucial step towards achieving our net-zero carbon goals."
