Supplied by Dennison Commercials, the order is a combination of replacements and additions for the operator’s 300-strong fleet, and comprises 15 FH units, nine FMs and the Aisla Edition FH.
The Volvo FH16-750 Ailsa Edition has Golden Fleece colour paintwork, along with a Globetrotter XL cab, 12 speed I-Shift automated manual transmission system and Volvo’s Dynamic Steering system.
The truck’s interior specification includes a Driving ++ Package, a rotating and heated passenger seat and I-Park Cool, a stationary air conditioning system.
The other FH vehicles and the FM units are all a similar spec: the 6x2 pusher axles chassis are powered by D13K 13-litre engines rated at 494bhp. They have Globetrotter cabs, sliding fifth wheels and Michelin tyres, and are subject to full R&M contracts with the dealer.
