Mellor delivers 10 Strata buses07 December 2022

Mellor has supplied 10 buses to East Riding of Yorkshire Council that will provide school transport services for children with special educational needs.

The new Strata high-floor buses will also offer services for adults attending day care provision.

Key to the decision to select the Mellor Strata was vehicle specification – particularly interior body width, which allows for a wide gangway. The 16-passenger capacity buses feature Phoenix Blenheim seats, Ricon inboard tail-lifts, Eberspacher Air Climate Control and 21st Century CCTV systems.

The East Riding fleet also includes bespoke-built accessible buses from Treka – which sits alongside Mellor within the WNVTech company. The Mellor bus range comprises Sigma – the new all-electric six-model bus range – and Strata, Orion, Maxima and Tucana ranges.
