MS Wayman weighs in with 44-tonne Renault Range T01 March 2016
Lincolnshire-based haulier MS Wayman and Sons has extended its fleet with a 44-tonne Renault Range T for use on top weight tipping tanker haulage, tanker and general haulage work across the UK.
Supplied by Thompson Commercials (Boston), the Range T460.26 is wrapped in MS Wayman’s blue and gold livery and, to mark its 60th anniversary, is the first vehicle in the 20-strong fleet to be adorned with the family’s crest. The truck also comes with a two-year full R&M package.
Director Michael Wayman says: “After successfully running Premiums, we were completely convinced by Renault Trucks’ reliability and the aftersales service from Thompson Commercials as well as the competitive deal on offer.
“There were many things we liked about the Range T, including the cab comfort, all-round vision, smooth gearbox and the all-important storage.”
The vehicle is covering between 350-450km per day and, says Wayman, “so far we are very impressed with the performance”, adding: “The fuel figures are looking promising, too, and we are getting between 7.8 and 8.2 mpg, depending on the nature of the haul.”
