Novadata reports increased demand for analogue tacho analysis03 December 2014

Tachograph analysis firm Novadata is reporting an increase in demand for its analogue tachograph services, due to tighter enforcement of drivers' hours legislation.

The company says many fleets have both digital and analogue tachos, and fleet managers need to combine this data to produce accurate drivers' hours reports.

"We can provide a digitalised version of the analogue tachograph data, so that it can be combined with that from digital tachographs," explains Derek Broomfield (pictured), Novadata's chairman.

"We can therefore provide companies with a single set of data using the analysis of both analogue and digital tachograph records," he continues.

"That allows them to make the required drivers' hours and Working Time Directive calculations for each driver, even if the individual uses both types of tachograph as they change vehicles."

Novadata also offers a range of courses for drivers and transport managers.
