Derbyshire coach firm Andrew’s of Tideswell has boosted its 30-strong fleet with the introduction of two new Plaxton Panthers to support the company’s ever-growing day trip and tour operations.

Both vehicles are B8R 350bhp models with I-Shift transmissions.

With air conditioning, reversing cameras, DVDs and monitors, centrally located washroom and fridge facilities, plus all-age seatbelts, the new 12.8m 53-seat coaches are finished to a luxury standard.

Based in the village of Tideswell, near Buxton, in Derbyshire, the 85-year-old family business offers trips to events across the UK and holiday packages that cover the length and breadth of the UK, the Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands, and into mainland Europe, including new initiatives this year that incorporate Germany and Croatia.

Managing director Russell Andrew commented: “Our passion is the consistent delivery of class-leading customer services, whether it be for day trips to special events, extended journeys in the UK or complete holiday packages at home and abroad. To achieve that we need vehicles that are stylish, immaculately finished and perform reliably every day. In particular, we need coaches that provide high capacity and lots of options in terms of the jobs they can tackle. Our new Panthers meet that criteria and are a valuable addition to our fleet.”
