Schmitz Trailers hit the right note for entertainment haulier24 February 2012

R Jameson Transport is singing the praises of four new Mega box trailers, purchased from Schmitz Cargobull.

One of the trailers' first tasks was delivering equipment ready for the 2012 Brit Awards at London's O2 Arena.

The Buckinghamshire-based company, which transports equipment to venues for events such as TV shows, exhibitions and awards ceremonies, says the new 100m3 flat floor trailers overlook nothing.

"Everything you could need is there and every detail has been thought of," comments Richard Jameson, owner of R Jameson Transport.

Coupling 30cm lower than conventional box trailers, the Mega box trailer model allows for additional load capacity by running at a reduced height throughout the length of the trailer.

"The construction and rigidity of these trailers is first class – from the modular design to the fully galvanised chassis and robust side panels," continues Jameson.

"Everything has been done for a reason, which means you get exactly what you need first-time without having to retrofit at a later stage," he adds.

"Mechanics in particular love Schmitz Cargobull trailers because they are so easy to work on. The design of the trailers means we have the freedom to move things around as required, due to the modular and bolted construction.
