Vehicles for sale will be promoted via the Tip Used website in addition to platforms such as Truck LocatorTM and Auto Trader.
Tip’s used fleet includes a range of heavy goods vehicle trucks from DAF, Volvo and Mercedes Benz, plus a number of light commercial vehicles from a variety of manufacturers. All vehicles are ex-Tip fleet and come with a full-service history. Retail customers can benefit from a warranty package.
Finance is also available through TIP Equipment Finance to trade and retail customers.
Tip expects more than 400 vehicles a year to be sold from the Warrington site. The workshop and vehicle preparation facilities remove the need for vehicle movement between sites.
The site, approximately 15 miles from Manchester Airport, is located near to the M6 and M56 motorway network and has parking for up to 50 vehicles.
Russell Leach, TIP’s newly appointed remarketing manager for trucks, said: “Tip de-fleets up to 500 vehicles a year, all of which have been rigorously maintained throughout their usage, and we are pleased to be able to offer these to UK buyers.”
The Tip used division runs its own in-house refurbishment facility for used trucks, vans and trailers and can offer its retail customers refurbished vehicles as standard, and by arrangement for trade purchases.
