VLS welcomes new chair 29 September 2023

The Verification of Lubricant Specifications (VLS) has appointed Jacquie Berryman as its new chair, where she will support the lubricants industry through the transition to alternative fuels.

She is also keen to support the lubricants industry through the implementation of Euro 7 and future ACEA changes.

Currently Industry liaison advisor at Infineum, Berryman has been involved in VLS since 2015 as a member of the supervisory board. She is also the past president of the Additives Technical Committee and has more than 20 years of experience in the lubricants industry.

Berryman is taking over from Mike Bewsey, who has become president of the United Kingdom Lubricants Association.

VLS company secretary David Wright added: “It has been a pleasure to work with Mike for the past eight years, and we would like to thank him for his support for VLS. We look forward to working with Jacquie and continuing VLS’s work to ensure consumer confidence and trust in the UK lubricants industry.”
