Heinz-Jürgen Löw has left his position of president of Renault Trucks, deciding to continue his career with an unnamed company in Germany. While waiting for him to be replaced, Bernard Modat, the current worldwide brand director at Renault Trucks, will act as interim president.

The man tasked with keeping all of Gateshead Council's 325 commercial vehicles on the road has been declared the best transport manager in the UK. The GreenFleet award – presented annually to the fleet manager who has demonstrated innovation, dedication and a commitment to carbon reduction – was presented to fleet manager Graham Telfer.

Frank Harvey has been appointed head of the RMI's National Association of Bodyshops (NAB) with effect from January 2013.
