Beverley Bell to be next president of CILT06 February 2015

The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) has announced that senior traffic commissioner Beverley Bell FCILT is to be the organisation’s next president.

Mrs Bell will take over the one-year tenure from Jim Spittle FCILT at an inauguration lunch to be held in London on 8 May 2015.

She has been a Fellow of the CILT for almost 10 years and vice-president for the past two years.

"It is both an honour and a privilege to be given this opportunity to represent the logistics and transport profession during such an exciting period of growth and development," states Mrs Bell.

Beverley Bell established her own law practice in 1990, focusing on criminal and transport law. She was traffic commissioner for the north west of England from 2000, becoming senior traffic commissioner for Great Britain in June 2012.
