Get a grip on fleet uptime for winter17 November 2016

RUD Chains is reminding operators that they can take action ahead of the predicted plummeting temperatures to ensure fleets remain on the road.

The company manufactures a range of snow chains for all vehicles, including for vans, trucks, buses and emergency service vehicles.

RUD’s comfort Centrax chains for vans are easy to fit: the driver simply mounts the adapter and the chain is fitted from the outer side of the wheel without the need for tools.

For trucks and buses, the RUDmatic MAXI snow chains offer powerful traction and a spring steel hoop chain system enables fast fitting and removal.

The new Rotogrip CS automatic snow chains, meanwhile, are suitable for vehicles that that have limited mounting space and ground clearance issues, such as buses with pneumatic suspensions and low profile tyres. The chains can be switched on and off from the driver’s seat as road conditions alter.

Rotogrip automatic snow chains can be used across on a range of vehicles, from road haulage, buses, public transport and emergency service vehicles. Pre-tensioned springs enable the chain strands to be placed evenly under each tyre.
