Kevin Richardson to be chief executive of CILT20 October 2015

The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport has announced that Kevin Richardson FCILT has been appointed as chief executive.

Richardson, former European development director for Norbert Dentressangle (now XPO Logistics) will take over from Steve Agg on 1 January 2016.

Richardson also spent 20 years at TDG, latterly as strategic development director.

Professor Richard Wilding, CILT chairman, says of Richardson: “He will lead the institute with commitment, energy and a wealth of expertise into a new era within the logistics and transport sector.”

Beverley Bell, CILT president and senior traffic commissioner, adds: “I am looking forward to working with Kevin in his new role as chief executive of the institute. His experience in the logistics and transport sector will ensure the institute continues to grow as the profession expands and develops.”
