Mick Glover takes on the role of used remarketing manager for Mercedes-Benz Vans, looking after the team handing wholesale and retail sales.
He also heads up sales administration, defleet and logistics, dealer targeting and RV portfolio management, reporting to managing director Steve Bridge.
"The used van market in the UK is around three times bigger than the new van market, so there is a fantastic opportunity now to maximise our strength in this area," explains Glover.
"The right vehicle for a customer may well be a used one, and we are committed to helping people find the right vehicle for their needs, whether that is new or used."
Having worked in the Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicle business for 20 years, Glover has worked closely with the dealer network.
His most recent role was as head of service quality for Mercedes-Benz Vans.
