Prometeon names MD for UK and Nordics 20 January 2023

Yilmaz also wants to expand Prometeon, particularly in the UK

Prometeon Tyre Group has named Ali Yilmaz managing director (MD) for the UK, Ireland and Nordics, replacing interim MD Francesco Antonacci.

Over the last six and a half years at Prometeon, Yilmaz has worked in Turkey, Russia, Africa, the Middle East, the Nordics and Milan, Italy. He has served as commercial director for the last six months.

Yilmaz said: “2022 has been a year of unexpected challenges for everyone but through these unprecedented times we have found a way to work together and achieve brilliant results. With the plans I have for the business we will strongly carry on with this same level of growth.”

“My priorities are to find new ways to grow, including new products and services, new business models, and deepen existing customer relationships,” he added.

He also wants to expand Prometeon, particularly in the UK.
