Volvo completes renewal programme for truck range 22 May 2013

With the introduction of the new FH, FM, FMX, FE and FL models since September 2012, Volvo has says it has now completed the overhaul of its entire truck range.

According to Claes Nilsson, president of Volvo Trucks, in keeping with the demands of operators and legislators, all the new models include innovations that make the driver's job easier and more efficient.

"This has been one of the most intensive and exciting periods in our history," comments Nilsson.

"With the most modern and high-tech Volvo line-up ever, we now have an outstanding ability to help customers in all segments to improve their productivity and profitability."

Nilsson names Dynafleet Fuel and Environment, the Fuel Advice service and Volvo's Efficient Driving training course as key examples of improvements for drivers and fleet operators.

In addition, he points to the I-Shift automated transmission, which is now available as an option on the FE, as well as the FH, FM and FMX trucks.

"All our trucks share the same virtues of giving the driver excellent driving properties at the same time as the transporter benefits from maximum uptime and minimum fuel costs," concludes Nilsson.
