John Davies, former development director for major projects with DHL Supply Chain, has joined Fowler Welch as its business development director. Davies, who in his previous roles has gained top-level experience in key industry markets such as construction, public sector, energy, retail and consumer, joins Fowler Welch as part of a senior team that has been strengthened over the past year.

James Charnock has been appointed managing director of Volvo Group UK's one stop shop parts company Roadcrew. Charnock, who joined Roadcrew in November, brings with him a wealth of aftermarket experience from his previous position at DAF Trucks UK, where he was fleet parts sales director. The appointment follows the recent move of Roadcrew's headquarters near Bath to Volvo Group UK' head office at Warwick.

Somertotalkare has announced the appointment of a new area sales manager for the South West region. Craig Mahoney, 28, from Plymouth, comes from an area sales manager background, with 10 years experience in industry. His previous job involved supplying environmental solutions to the waste sector.

Heinz-Jürgen Löw is settling in as president of Renault Trucks SAS. Löw has held several sales director positions, and joined Renault Trucks in 1999 as sales director of Renault Trucks Germany. In 2001, he was appointed managing director of Renault Trucks Germany and Austria before taking on the role of commercial director of Renault Trucks Europe in2006 and then director of Renault Trucks Europe in 2007. He now presides over Renault Trucks' new organisation in EMEA – part of the reorganisation being carried out in AB Volvo Group, to which Renault Trucks belongs – leading the management team.

Wabco has added Mary Petrovich to its board of directors.
