Supplied by Birmingham Van Centre on contract hire through Volkswagen Financial Services Fleet, the customised Transporters are described as “the perfect choice” for the Trust’s fleet upgrade.
“Our old fleet was in definite need of a revamp and, as Volkswagen is well known for its reliability, it was the perfect choice for our new commercial vehicles,” says Paul McNamara, support service manager for the Trust.
“We have been able to customise the vehicles to our needs, with features including bespoke bulkheads and telematics technology,” he adds.
“And, by opting for the Transporter, the size of the load compartment means we can reduce the number of times the team has to shuttle to and from locations, while at the same time ensuring drivers have an enjoyable experience behind the wheel.”
The vans are also equipped with a range of security features, including slamlocks and alarms.
