Citroen to unveil first Euro 6 LCV at Commercial Vehicle Show19 March 2015

Citroën has announced it will unveil the Euro 6 versions of its best-selling Berlingo range at the Commercial Vehicle Show (14-16 April, NEC, Birmingham).

The Berlingo is Citroën's first light commercial vehicle to be powered by Euro 6 BlueHDi diesel engines, which use advanced selective catalytic reduction (SCR) technology.

Citroën will be extending the BlueHDi engines across its entire LCV line-up as part of a rolling programme, starting in July 2015 and running through to September 2016.

The BlueHDi Berlingo vans have a 17-litre AdBlue tank, which will last for up to 14,000 miles.

Depending on the model, they will be available with Stop & Start, manual 5- or 6-speed gearboxes and Citroën's ETG6 automated manual transmission.

The Euro 6 Berlingo goes on sales in the UK from 1 July with BlueHDI 100 or BlueHDi 120 engines, with a BlueHDi 75 following in May 2016.

The updated Euro 5 Berlingo is also available from 1 July, with either HDi 75 or HDi 90 engine.
