FTA seeks qualified vehicle engineers for inspection service14 April 2014

The Freight Transport Association is looking for experienced LGV and PSV engineers to carry out healthcheck audits as part of its Vehicle Inspection Service (VIS).

"Due to the introduction of the new VIS Health-Check Audit, we are looking to enrol fully trained and experienced LGV/PSV engineers as soon as possible in order to meet demand," confirms Karen Crispe, FTA commercial director.

Applicants should have the ability to work to deadlines and a high level of attention to detail, she adds.

FTA's VIS includes inspections for: roadworthiness; maintenance; pre-purchase or end-of-lease; due diligence; and lifting equipment.
