Sidey takes Ryder route to pair of bespoke panel vans 06 February 2017

Perth-based window and door manufacturer Sidey has taken delivery of two replacement panel vans from Ryder, both on six-year leases.

One is a 2.8-tonne gvw Mercedes-Benz Vito 111 powered by the 114bhp Euro-6 engine, and bodied with two rows of Loadlock in a ply-lined loadspace.

The other is a 3.5-tonne gvw Ford Transit 350 long-wheelbase, high-roof panel van with the 124bhp engine, and a Supertrucks external glass rack.

Both vehicles were also specified with racking systems, designed by Sidey health, safety and logistics manager Maurice Allen, capable of handling both palletised and loose loads.

“I had worked with Ryder in the past and was aware of the effort Ryder staff put into providing the service their customers want,” comments Allen.
