The fuel filter/accumulator installed on the engine may crack, causing the element to break, which will ultimately resulting in fuel leakage. The issue can be identified to the driver by noticing fuel leaking onto the road surface under the vehicle, plus the driver may find it difficult to start the engine.
In addition to – or instead of – the above, another issue was identified. The cab wiring harness can come in contact with a support bracket within the cab which can cause chaffing damage. This can result in either the engine cutting out and/or the wiper motor suddenly stopping.
