BPW

BPW recommends using the Eco-Li Plus grease when lubricating taper roller bearings. Eco-Li Plus is an anti-friction, lithium complex blue grease that can protect and enhance the life of the hub unit and its components. The grease is resilient and can withstand temperatures ranging from -30 to 130°C, including peak temperatures of 160°C. In addition, the BPW Grease Applicator Kit is described as must-have tool for workshop technicians. It contains a base to hold the bearing cone and a closure plate. Fitted to the back of the plate is a standard grease nipple to feed the grease through. This piece of kit then feeds the right amount. The kit extends the service life of taper roller bearings, prevents grease waste and decreases the chance of contamination. www.tinyurl.com/3cktj4pt

TECALLIANCE

TecAlliance is offering an app that brings an up-to-date view of membership and local structures of international trading groups (ITG). Available for both iOS and Android, the myITG app is designed to enhance meeting preparation efficiency for ITG events by making information accessible anywhere, even offline. In the automotive aftermarket, information about ITG membership structures and upcoming events is often scattered across multiple channels. These include ITG websites, portals, mailing lists, and manufacturers’ CRM systems. When parts manufacturers prepare for meetings, various stakeholders from different departments and locations are involved. The lack of standardised, centralised information and processes impacts meeting quality, leaving representatives underprepared and without access to all relevant information on the spot. The myITG app aggregates all essential global information about trading groups, their members and locations into a standardised format. www.tinyurl.com/67k2n6fw
