Trucking feast

Truck Efficiency
Road Transport Expo (RTX) is heading to Stoneleigh from 24-26 June with its unique blend of business-to-business trade show and relaxed, informal networking

More than 300 exhibitors will be joining the Road Transport Expo (RTX) and record pre-show registrations are proving how the show has increased in popularity year after year, since its debut in 2022.

With an ‘All about the truck’ core focus, RTX is a must-attend show for anyone working in the road transport sector. Whether you run a family-owned haulage business, manage the fleet of a major 3PL, head up a busy workshop, or are in charge of safety and training, the event will have something to offer you.

“We are now in the final stages of organising the industry’s 2025 summer tradeshow and can’t wait to welcome visitors to NAEC Stoneleigh,” says RTX show director Vic Bunby.

“From truck debuts to innovative product demonstrations across our exhibition zones, through to fleet compliance and decarbonisation debates in our conference area, this year’s RTX has something for everyone.”

As you head around the showground, which features four indoor halls and a vast outside exhibition space, you will be able to see product demonstrations galore and chat directly with manufacturers and industry experts about your business needs.

With such a wide range of exhibitors to explore, it will be a good idea to plan your time at the event to help you get the most from your day.

To help you with this, check out www.roadtransportexpo.co.uk and search by categories, or alphabetically, for those companies you would like to prioritise. There will also be a handy visitor app, plenty of clear signage, and maps to help you navigate once on site.

Exhibitors include DAF Trucks, Scania UK, Volvo Trucks, IVECO, MAN Truck & Bus UK, Renault Trucks, Isuzu Truck UK, Pelican Electric Trucks, Cummins, Don-Bur, Krone, Lawrence David, Schmitz Cargobull, Michelin, Bridgestone, Goodyear, Totalkare and MAHA.

IN THE KNOW

Back again at this year’s RTX will be an insightful, three-day conference programme, covering the key topics that matter to you: from fleet decarbonisation and new vehicle technology, through to legal spotlights and regulatory compliance.

On the traditional ’Knowledge Zone’ stage you will be able to hear from a host of keynote speakers from the likes of the DVSA, the Office of the Traffic Commissioner, DfT, Logistics UK and many more.

Meanwhile, in a new area developed for 2025, the new ‘Talking Point’ stage will feature lively panel discussions, fireside chats and the popular RTX ‘Big Debate’ series.

TRY IT OUT FOR SIZE

The RTX Ride and Drive will be running once again this year, enabling you to get up close and personal with the latest vehicle technology.

You can take a drive yourself, if you hold the appropriate qualifications, or simply travel as a passenger and experience the latest trucks on a specially designed RTX test drive route.

As well as the latest generation of diesel trucks to choose from, you will also be able to experience what it is like behind the wheel of battery-electric HGVs and low-carbon-fuelled vehicles.

NETWORKING OPPORTUNITY

One of the standout features of RTX is always its relaxed, informal atmosphere, despite remaining firmly focused on business.

Whether you’re looking to strengthen relationships with existing clients, explore potential partnerships, or simply exchange ideas with peers who understand your challenges, RTX is where those conversations happen.

RTX exhibitors will also be pulling out all the stops when it comes to hospitality, so you can be sure of a warm welcome as you browse the stands. RTX 2025 is free to attend
