The role
You will carry out audits and maintenance inspections of vehicles, ancillary equipment and vehicle maintenance systems.
Your responsibilities will be:
• to plan, organise and complete all work allocated in a timely manner, in line with customer requirements and strictly adhering to FTA safety guidelines
• to ensure that the high standards and quality of work set by FTA are achieved at all times, whilst maintaining preset productivity targets
• to ensure that all documentation and reports are accurately completed
• to ensure that FTA electronic systems and laptop information is securely protected and that work done is transmitted to head office every working day
• to attend training sessions, meetings and travel to other offices/locations as directed
• to assist the Area Manager in other duties, as requested
About you
You will be a fully trained lgv, psv engineer with relevant engineering/technical qualifications and ideally have a sound field service engineering background.
You will be committed to providing first-class levels of customer service and support and a positive approach to meeting deadlines, with a high level of attention to detail. You will have good IT skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. You must be highly motivated with good organisational and communication skills. Due to the nature of this role you will need a clean ordinary driving licence, as well as a C+E licence.
