This is a key practical role with supervisory responsibilities. You will undertake services and repairs to a wide range of fleet vehicles and plant, including ground maintenance equipment and refuse collection vehicles. At the same time, you'll contribute to the cost-effective management of the Fleet Management Section by supervising the workforce.
A capable team leader, strong on the organisation of staff and workloads, you will bring detailed knowledge of light and heavy vehicles and fleet management procedures. Your qualification to City & Guilds level 3 in Motor Vehicle Craft Studies or equivalent will be matched by enthusiasm for making a difference as part of our dynamic authority in this Monday to Friday role.
