ENGINEERING DIRECTOR Reporting to the Managing Director the successful candidate will be responsible for the functionality and development of all engineering functions including both engineering and associated support staff, maintenance of our fleet of 295 buses to both company and regulatory standards and compliance with health and safety requirements. You will possess exceptional attention to detail with high standards alongside people management skills with the ability to drive change and manage budgeted requirements. The successful candidate will possess appropriate relevant technical qualifications in line with this post and membership of an appropriate professional body, along with experience of managing relevant stakeholders. ENGINEERING MANAGER Supporting the Engineering Director this additional post will manage the daily engineering operations and provision of vehicles for service in line with a compliant engineering function. The role will require the management of engineering staff and ensure programming and preparation of vehicles for inspection and testing in line with Arriva and Maltese regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have undergone a formal apprenticeship/training and possess relevant management experience and be able to demonstrate delivery in a similar role. Other key requirements are IT literacy, including knowledge of stock management systems and quality management processes along with membership of a recognised trade association.
