A vacancy has arisen at Stagecoach Yorkshire for an Engineering Manager based at Rawmarsh (Rotherham) depot, which currently operates a fleet of 62 vehicles. Reporting to the Engineering Director, the successful applicant will need to demonstrate a proven history in both technical and people management skills, preferably in the PCV/HGV industry. The ability to work to the highest standards of vehicle presentation, within a cost effective environment is essential.
A thorough knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, preventative maintenance procedures and VOSA standards is required. The ability to motivate and show strong leadership qualities to both skilled and unskilled staff is also essential.
You will require to be PC literate and hold an appropriate engineering qualification and have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
