The Chambers Group is a successful Recycling and Quarrying Company based in Surrey. We have a fleet of 70 various waste collection and tipper vehicles and a similar amount of heavy recycling and earth moving equipment that is used in our quarrying and recycling operations.
A position has arisen for a Fleet and Plant Manager to oversee the maintenance and compliance to strict VOSA standards of the Groups fleet of HGV's, trucks, cars and vans. You will also be responsible for overseeing the routine maintenance of the groups various recycling and quarrying equipment and also managing 8 workshop staff split between 2 workshops.
You would also be responsible for managing the ongoing fleet replacement programme and you would report direct to the Managing Director.
This is very much a hands on position as our operations are based on six sites around the Guildford and Farnham area.
An excellent package will be provided to the right applicant.
A National and International CPC is desirable but not essential.
