Salaries: £25,401 to £29,016 plus shift and weekend allowances
Hours: Full Time - 37 hours
Your responsibilities will include attending scenes of serious and fatal collisions and undertake forensic investigation of vehicles. This will include investigating vehicle computer systems and photographing and videoing crash scenes as required. You will also give advice on and oversee vehicle recovery and conduct crash investigations and be proactive in identifying road safety issues.
You must be able to demonstrate experience of examining vehicles and tachographs and be able to interrogate vehicle electrical systems and interpret the information within them.You must be able to work within the demanding environment of fatal road traffic collisions and be sufficiently mobile to deal with the demands of accessing remote and awkward locations, climbing ladders and carrying heavy equipment. You must also be proficient in compiling detailed reports and have effective communication skills, both verbal and written and be flexible to be able to adapt to changing situations and workloads.
This role will include travel throughout the East Midlands and therefore it is essential that you have a full, clean driving license. You must also be prepared to be part of an on-call rota.
