SHB Hire Ltd, a national vehicle hire company, require a Regional Maintenance Manager for the Southern part of mainland UK.
You will have responsibility for overseeing the service/parts operation at 5 of our Depots; management of the Depot Managers; deal with staffing issues; have responsibility for approximately 20 Mobile Mechanics; develop systems and processes in line with Company procedures; and have strong involvement with national issues. You will be required to travel around the South of England and Wales and work closely with your counterpart in the North.
The successful candidate will have a strong, proven mechanical background preferably with experience of both HGV's and light vehicles; have experience in staffing issues and recruitment; be computer literate, have a good telephone manner, and a good standard of both written and spoken English.
This role can be demanding at times and requires someone who is able to rise to the challenge and has excellent leadership ability.
