We are looking to recruit aTechnical & Field Engineering Manager

Reporting to the Managing Director – North Europe Region, you will be required:
•To establish the future direction and strategy of the North Europe Region Field Engineering Team, by setting clear structure and responsibilities;
•To manage and control Technical support for Denmark, Finland, Ireland, UK and Sweden. To standardise process (e.g. budgetary planning, claims process) and to analyse and report data;
•To ensure that there is maintenance of product quality and reliability across the product ranges and to provide an avenue to support research and product development;
•To visit all locations providing 'hands on' management and support, and to build strong relationship with all product and sales teams;
•To ensure that there is a clear link with Bridgestone Europe management and that global initiatives and policies are clearly aligned and adhered to.
You will need to be educated to degree level in Engineering, Science or Mathematics, have substantial technical experience from the tyre/automotive industry and have a valid driving licence. You will need to be a skilled negotiator at senior level, have man management experience, sound knowledge of all regulations affecting the tyre industry as well as experience working with quality systems/structures.
