Working from one of the above workshops, you’ll be responsible for carrying out general maintenance repair work on our fleet of vehicles and trailers and provide technical support, from fault analysis through to completion.
With a meticulous approach, you need to be able to produce technical work to the highest standard and work in line with strict Health & Safety requirements. You will also need to have an in-depth knowledge of vehicles, trailers, workshop plant and equipment.You will be able to use your initiative, work well within a team and utilise strong organisational and communication skills in order to meet deadlines and maintain clear documentation.
Educated to City & Guilds standard in Mechanical Engineering or within an equivalent engineering discipline, you must also have experience in HGV fleet maintenance. You should also hold an HGV C+E licence Class 1; a current ADR would be an advantage.
