Manchester-based 151 Products has taken delivery of five new DAF trucks from Ryder s part of a replacement deal for its eight-strong fleet.
The contract involves two 44-tonne DAF tractor units, two 18-tonne rigids, a 26-tonne rigid and a new semi-trailer, all covered under a five-year contract hire deal.
The DAF trucks are the 460bhp CFs driving through automated transmissions and fitted with Space cabs. All the tractors and rigids have air conditioned cabs with fridges.
"We chose to continue using Ryder for contract hire because of its reliability and consistently high standards of service," comments 151's transport manager Ian Thompson – adding that 151 Products operates a demanding delivery schedule.
Its expanded fleet distributes the product ranges throughout the UK and as far afield as Poland, Kenya and Mauritius.
