Civil engineering services specialist Applebridge Construction has ordered 18 new Caddy vans from VW Commercial Vehicles, to maintain work sites across Yorkshire and the north east England.
Phillip Hughes, construction director at Applebridge Construction, says the Volkswagen Caddy was chosen for its low running costs and reputation for being one of the most reliable vans in its class.
Applebridge has a long-standing relationship with VW's Donnelly Van Centre, and its customer service was also central to securing the new contract, he says.
"When looking at replacing our fleet we took into consideration vehicle quality, aftercare service and whole life costs," says Hughes.
"Volkswagen had the winning formula... We have received fantastic customer service over the years from the Donnelly Van Centre and we're pleased to extend that relationship with this new deal."
